16 Dec 2011 : Heinz Riegler Wins Short Film Award
Heinz Reigler has taken out a short film award with his debut short film titled Motion Portrait #1.
It is a fantastic result for Riegler who was 1 of 70 artists to submit their audiovisual works to the 2011 Tonbild competition which are organised by Mica - Music Austria.
The terms for the competition were the submission of videos from the year 2011 with a maximum length of 15 minutes, while the music had to come from persons who are either Austrians or have their life centered in Austria. There were no restrictions to the musical genre or content.
Riegler says he is "psyched" to have taken out the award for what is his debut short film, which he also provided the original musical soundtrack to.
An incredible result for the budding director and an impressive step in his film making career and Mushroom Music would like to congratulate him.
