Mushroom Music would like to congratulate Dave Graney & The Lurid Yellow Mist for being voted "Best Victorian Band" at the 2011 Age EG Awards on Wednesday.
The awards took place at the Prince band room in St. Kilda and in its sixth year since its conception drew an impressive 81,904 votes cast across 8 AGE reader-voted categories making these the largest public voted awards in Australia.
Also picking up a gong was the wonderful Clare Bowditch who took out the Best Female Artist for 2011. A fantastic achievement for the songstress who took to Facebook this-morning to share her gratitude and humble thanks with fans.

You will have to wait a little longer to see Clare Bowditch who takes to the stage at A Day On The Green early next year - Saturday, February 18 at 4:30pm.
