Mushroom have inked THE TEMPER TRAP simultaneous to the release of the band’s debut album Conditions on Liberation. Produced by UK producer Jim Abbiss (UNKLE, Arctic Monkeys, Adele), Conditions is a collection of songs equally ambitious as bold. From the soaring 'Down River', resplendent with strings, horns & choirs to the spine-tingling 'Soldier On', the tribal percussive beat of live favourite 'Drum Song' and transcendent 'Love Lost', which somehow wields the common ground between neo-soul and wide-screen alternative rock. The album’s lead single Sweet Disposition recently peaked at #12 in the official UK singles chart, while it was celebrated at home as the feature track for the AFL’s finals promos. After spending the bulk of 2009 abroad, The Temper Trap will return to Australia this summer for their much anticipated Falls and Big Day Out festival appearances.
