Mushroom Music has recently scored the queen bee - genius wordsmith and pop culture fiend Macromantics (aka Romy Hoffman).
Macro packs plentiful punches with rap songs that are as dark, as they are playful. Originally from Sydney, the now Melbourne based artist began her musical career as a 15 year-old guitarist for Ben Lee's Noise Addict before surrendering herself to hip-hop culture.
Last year Macro dropped her acclaimed debut album 'Moments In Movement', which earned a US release through seminal indie/punk label Kill Rock Stars, giving her an international outlook.
